Count me in. Just upgraded the ram to 2gig(fun) and 320gig HD.
All the way to 10.6.2 thanks to NMI r0.8.3 rc4

I will soon. Ordered the Mini10V on black friday. It ships december 10; I’ll have the usb drives ready for a dual boot SL/XP. I need a couple of window apps that are not ported to OSX.

I ordered mine, and it should be here around the 10th. I have my Snow Leopard disc already, but no Mac to format and load the data onto my USB drive. So I’ve still got a hurdle to climb before I can get it running on the netbook.

I guess there are many hackintosh 10v owners out in the wild who do not post anything anywhere about it as it just works! :-)

hey Victor,

a question for you, how did you make it for clicking the links and showing the window with a pop out window in the post?

it’s really cool~

Noodiea, I’m using the Shadowbox JS Wordpress Plugin for the cool effects.

manomiky | February 12, 2010 at 10:06 am

I am!
And I know 5 more persons around me I helped to make it work.

So you can add 6 more!

Montala | February 19, 2010 at 2:07 pm

Not sure where you are up to now, but you can certainly add me to the list!

Recently hackintoshed my Dell Mini 10v to Snow Leopard 10.6.2

Delighted with the result!

Another 10v Hackintosh (SnowLeopard) here. Got the nickelodeon version of the 10v, from the dell outlet, combined with an online coupon, shipped for $245! Add $30 for OSX, and good go to, under $300!

Not real happy with the trackpad, might have to add some tape to certain parts.

Not super happy with flash video playback (even youtube), so I’m considering bumping up to 2GB.

Just discovering the idea of this – very cool idea, and I could use a second mac to drag around for myself. Can I use this to run parallels/vmware to get back to PC compatibility or am I better off just partitioning and dual-booting?

Author comment by Victor Goh | March 9, 2010 at 12:30 pm

Jim, You should be able to run vmware and parallels on the Dell Mini 10v hackintosh. I would recommend you up the RAM to 2GB for this purpose.

I am one of those Snow Leopard owners too, count me in…
