hi by the way what is the version of you OSX? im running 10.6 on dell mini 10v and im having hard time to install or update cause it ends me in reformating of reason of getting slow hope to have reply thanks

There is a fix for playing 720p video files, doesn’t help YouTube though…

I have mine connected to my 32″ Samsung. I was really hoping to play 720p on YouTube, but alas only 480. Still better than what my Samsung BluRay player does for YouTube.

Saulo Silva I had the same problem the only way it was possible to install it was using the tab button I’ll take u a bit more time but when u install it u can do the changes from the options

Hi there,
I’ve tried to update my S10-3T IdeaPad netbook with the latest bios that is listed on the Lenovo website.
The bios is clearly outdated (when I look on the setup screen) but the flash software complains that the current bios part number and the new one don’t match.

Any suggestions?

The Dell Mini is a horrible choice for Audio or Video editing. I tried running Garageband and Ableton Live and all I got was crunchy, stuttery sound with huge latency delays! It wouldn’t even launch iMovie btw, just kept getting an error. Meh. I’ll stick with my REAL Mac anyday. You get what you pay for.

Your comment is sad. If Apple or other corporations don’t wish us to use their software (not hurting anyone or stealing anything) and break the rules, then they should be more open. Why are you even on this site if you’re so concerned with abiding by the EULA?

To greg who is having the sound issue. I installed 10.3 on my dell 10. Sometimes the sound worked, then for no reason next time I bootup the sound was gone. My wife works as a language teacher and it was a problem for her. After a lot of hit and miss efforts I finally got it to work by running the latest Netbookinstaller (for 10.5 I think) but did not update the O.S., I left that as 10.3. Now when I booup I get a little bar that empties for a few seconds before The normal apple logo bootup, but I have never had the sound issue again. Hope this helps.
